Many people ask what process maps look like. I think this breakfast process map does a great job.
Additionally, we would add layers on top of the map with answers to questions like:
- How do you keep up inventory on the eggs?
- How much do you need of each ingredient?
- What if someone doesn’t like toast?
- How do you want it displayed on the plate?
- How is each item cooked?
- Etcetera
When everything is detailed, you have a complete process. Finally, the information must be put into a user-friendly format. That is how a process map becomes a turnkey system!
